AnyChat Export ("we", "our", "us") is a Chrome browser extension that enables users to export AI conversations from platforms such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Claude. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

If you create an account (required only for Premium features), we collect your email address for authentication and subscription management. We use Firebase Authentication to securely manage sign-in.

1.2 Usage Analytics (Optional)

We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data such as which export formats are used and how often the extension is activated. This data contains no personally identifiable information and is used solely to improve the product. You can opt out of analytics in the extension settings.

1.3 Conversation Content (PDF Rendering)

When you export a conversation to PDF, the content is sent to our rendering server to generate the PDF file. We do not store, log, or retain your conversation content. The data is processed in memory and immediately discarded after the PDF is generated and delivered to you.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not read or access conversations you do not explicitly choose to export.
  • We do not collect browsing history, cookies, or any data outside of the export workflow.
  • We do not store your AI conversation content on our servers.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Account management: To authenticate your identity and manage Premium subscriptions.
  • PDF generation: To render your exported conversation as a PDF document.
  • Product improvement: Anonymous, aggregated usage analytics help us understand which features are most valuable.
  • Customer support: To respond to your inquiries or troubleshoot issues.

4. Data Storage & Security

Account data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure). All data transmitted between the extension and our servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Firebase Authentication — for user sign-in and account management.
  • Cloudflare — for hosting and content delivery.

Each service has its own privacy policy governing its data practices.

6. Your Rights & Choices

  • Opt out of analytics: Disable usage analytics in the extension's settings panel.
  • Delete your account: Contact us to request deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Uninstall: Removing the extension stops all data collection immediately.

7. Children's Privacy

AnyChat Export is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
